Sierra Pines Resort
Nestled at the base of the Sierra Buttes whose rocky peaks tower 8,600 feet, Herrington’s Sierra Pines Resort is located in historic Sierra City. Founded in 1850 and once a booming mining town, Sierra City has become a popular tourist area. Splendid scenery abounds as the beautiful Yuba River meanders for a third of a mile through the resort property. The Resort maintains private walking trails where you will find picnic tables and chairs placed along the river for our guests’ relaxation.
Walton’s Grizzly Lodge
Walton’s Grizzly Lodge provides the ideal overnight summer camp experience for children ages 7–15. Located in the Sierras of Northern California, camp life centers around our private lake. Campers choose from over 40 activities daily including water sports, horseback riding, arts and crafts, athletics, archery and our extensive ropes course challenges which features a 500 foot zip line across our lake.
