Fifty-one miles north of Truckee and 54 miles northwest of Reno our ten-acre Lost Sierra resort was created exclusively for destination weddings or for those looking for a unique experience where you and your closest family and friends can spend a weekend together at your own private wedding oasis.
Hold your ceremony on a sprawling lawn, take portraits by our fishing pond or host a cocktail hour on the poolside terrace. Let your guests dance the night away on our 9-hole executive golf course. Intimate or epic, indoors or under the stars, with private and exclusive use of the entire resort, the choice is yours. This is your day, your vision, and this is the place that can make it a reality.
Activities & Adventures:
Regardless of the season, Chalet View Lodge offers countless activities and adventures to fulfill your every desire. Enjoy our fishing pond while surrounded by the pristine tranquility of our 10-acre property. Find yourself on a relaxing nature hike. Freewheel down mountain byways and down country roads on a custom mountain bike.
Getting here is part of the fun. Our resort is a four-hour drive from the San Francisco Bay area, just 45 minutes north of Truckee and Lake Tahoe. You can practically feel the entrapments of city life falling away with each passing mile. It might feel like you’re away from everything out here (and truth be told, that’s one of the big advantages) but venture out and you’ll find a treasure trove of activities. For outdoor enthusiasts the area is a natural playground.
Championship style court. A game for two teams, usually of six players, the aim being to score points by making the ball reach the ground on the opponent’s side of the court.
A game in which small bags filled with dried corn are tossed at a target consisting of an inclined wooden platform with a hole at one end.
Bocce, also known as Italian lawn bowling, is one of the most widely played games in the world and is one of the oldest lawn or yard games.
An outdoor game played between two people (or two teams of two people) using four horseshoes and two throwing targets (stakes) set in a sandbox area.
Observe this natural habitat full of interesting plants and animals that have adapted to an aquatic life.
SWIMMING POOL & SPA
Our swimming pool & hot tub are open seasonally from May 1st until October 31st. This includes the lounge area. Our pool has limited heating and is most comfortable during the summer months. Pool hours are from 10am to 8pm.
