Our Story
Lost Sierra Wine Co. merges the Millard family’s passions for fine wine, and exploring the remote landscapes of Northern California’s Lost Sierra region.
Nestled among the peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the branching forks of the Feather River, the Lost Sierra remains mostly unexplored.
After years in California’s world-renowned wine country, we have found a new way of life in this region – and the inspiration for our family wine business.
Our approachable, handcrafted wines are built to pair with outdoor adventures and the company of friends and family. Sourced from the iconic growing regions we know so well, each of our wines embodies a unique element of the Lost Sierra that we hope to share and explore.

The 2021 Altitude Red Wine is a versatile fruit forward red blend from the historical growing region of Lodi, California. The blend leans on Pinot Noir for its base with ample red fruits and a juicy mouth feel. The Mourvedre offers black fruit flavors, subtle texture, and purple hues. And finally, the unexpected addition of Chardonnay ties everything together. The addition of white wine to this red blend is uncommon and serves to add aromas of citrus, flavors of pear and apple and, soften the palate while retaining its fresh fruit. Enjoy Altitude at room temp or chilled like a white wine with pizza, pork sliders or ceviche.

The 2022 Trailhead Chardonnay is a bright and elegant white wine from the iconic Russian River Valley in Sonoma County. The region is well known for its exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, and this is no exception. A perfect balance of citrus, stone fruit and apple mingle with a pleasant acidity and subtle toasty notes on the finish. The 2022 Singletrack Pinot Noir comes from one of California’s most noteworthy regions, the Russian River in Sonoma Valley. Farmed sustainably and made with minimal winemaking intervention, this luscious Pinot Noir shows off everything people love about the variety. Little new oak was used to allow the regional characteristics to shine through. You’ll find aromas of cherries and raspberries that blend with the soft mouthfeel and medium crispness to make for an inviting experience. Its delicate nature calls for your favorite cheeses, anything with mushrooms, and pan seared lamb chops.

The 2022 Elevation Red Blend is a bold and juicy red blend from Sonoma County, Napa Valley and Mendocino County.
