About Us:
Our mission is to empower and lift up communities through compassionate human services. Since 1980, we have offered services, education and support to achieve our mission. Our advocates and services reach out to all in our community to ensure that our vision of residents, families and communities in rural Northeastern California have the local resources, services and opportunities necessary to be independent, healthy and self-sufficient including accessibility to good food, shelter, employment, social networks and health services free from violence and substance abuse.
Family Empowerment Center
We provide information, training, support and advocacy to parents and guardians of children and young adults with ANY disability.
Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
WIC provides benefits to access healthy foods, nutrition education and tips, breastfeeding support, and more.
A.L.I.V.E.
ALIVE provides training and support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Each resource listed contains a wealth of information about who to contact and where they are located. Also, if available, we have included their website and email addresses to simplify access to more specific information. Most of the resources in this guide have a brief description to assist you in selecting the correct service.
