Meet Kelsey
I am a geologist and volunteer firefighter and EMT with a deep love for the outdoors. I was born and raised in Graeagle. As a people person, I am passionate about teaching CPR, AED, and First Aid to Basic Life Saving (BLS) providers and laypeople. My goal is to ensure that individuals, especially in rural areas, are equipped with the knowledge to perform CPR when needed.
As a BLS Instructor, I started my own CPR, AED, and First Aid training business with a strong emphasis on safety. My target clients include laypeople, medical professionals, small communities, and individuals in rural fi eld camps for mineral exploration and other scientific endeavors. My unique background as a safety-conscious geologist allows me to bring valuable insights into teaching life-saving skills in these environments.
I am committed to making a significant impact by teaching life-saving skills in Plumas County, the Alaskan Interior, and beyond.
The more people who know how to respond in a crisis, the better the outcomes. The first 4-6 minutes of a cardiac event are crucial, and early high-quality CPR and defibrillation are key to survival. In addition to CPR, I emphasize the importance of basic survival skills, which are especially valuable in rural communities.
